Advanced Communication Skills-II develops students' vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, and writing abilities for personal, academic, and professional contexts, including interview, CV, portfolio, and placement-readiness skills.

Presentation - Individual 33.33%

Each student will prepare the first drafts of their CV and Portfolio and present them orally to demonstrate their professional profile and placement readiness. The instructor will provide individual feedback on the presentation, portfolio, and CV. The hardcopy of the CV and the link to the portfolio are mandatory submissions to the class teacher.

Week 3 / 4

Rubric
To showcase academic qualifications, technical skills, and career objectives through an effective CV and Portfolio presentation.

Interview 33.33%

Students will complete the assigned tasks on the Oxford online platform, listen to a Know Your Company (KYC)-based audio track beforehand, and participate in a mock interview based on a range of Job Descriptions (JDs). Their performance will be evaluated based on the successful completion of online assignments and the mock interview.

Week 5 / 6

Rubric
To evaluate students' understanding and performance through the assigned assignments (10 Marks) and interview (20 Marks).

Test 1 33.33%

Students will complete Listening, Reading, and Writing tasks (20 Marks) and assigned assignments (10 Marks) on the Oxford online platform. Assessment will be based on listening, reading comprehension, writing, and assigned online assignment tasks.

Week 9 / 10

Rubric
To assess students' Listening, Reading, and Writing skills (20 Marks), along with their performance in the completion of assigned online assignments (10 Marks).

Test 2 33.33%

Listening to a track, reading comprehension comprising true/false/not given questions, fill in the blanks, or multiple-choice questions, and writing task.
