This course covers Mendelian and post-Mendelian inheritance, chromosome structure and cell division, gene interactions, cytogenetics, genetic variation, linkage and chromosome mapping, and molecular mechanisms of gene expression. It also includes practical study of microscopy, cells, mitosis, meiosis, genetic crosses, chi-square analysis, linkage, sex-linked inheritance, and DNA/RNA structures.
