The subject covers the foundations, evolution, characteristics, and applications of Artificial Intelligence, including state-space problem formulation, classical and heuristic search, knowledge representation, reasoning, and intelligent agents. It also introduces Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Responsible AI, modern AI development ecosystems, and emerging trends.

Project 30%

The CA1 project will be evaluated based on Problem Selection and Data Preparation, Model Development and Deployment, and the Project Outcome (Patent/Research Paper/Revenue Generation Proposal) along with Viva-Voce and Presentation. The evaluation emphasizes problem identification, technical implementation, innovation, and effective presentation of the developed solution.

Rubric
To evaluate students' ability to design, implement, and demonstrate an Artificial Intelligence solution by applying problem-solving, knowledge representation, reasoning, and intelligent system concepts.

Test 1 30%

Syllabus of the test will be Unit-I and Unit-II.

Rubric
To assess individual students' understanding of the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence covered in Unit-I and Unit-II.

Test 2 30%

A 30-mark subjective test will be conducted to assess students' understanding of content covered in Unit-I to Unit-V.
