This course develops upper-intermediate communication skills through grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and practical communication activities. It covers attitude and growth mindset, tenses, modals, determiners, reported speech, professional vocabulary, reading comprehension, presentations, and formal writing.

Individual presentation on topics such as 'Mental Health Awareness Among Students and Professionals' and 'Social Media: A Tool for Growth or a Source of Stress?', among others.

Rubric
Vocabulary range and control: 6 marks; Grammatical Accuracy: 6 marks; Phonological Control: 6 marks; Coherence and Fluency: 6 marks; Thematic development: 6 marks.

Test 1 30%

30 MCQs based on grammar topics such as tenses and modals, along with the core concepts of Attitude Transformation, Emotional Maturity and Growth Mindset.

Week 5 / 6

Rubric
To assess and enhance students' grammatical accuracy and understanding through grammar-based multiple-choice questions along with the core concepts of Attitude Transformation, Emotional Maturity and Growth Mindset.

Test 2 30%

Writing task and MCQs on reading comprehension, articles and quantifiers, reduced clauses, connectors and focus structures, professional vocabulary, and formal email writing. Marks distribution: MCQs: 20 marks; writing task: 10 marks.

Rubric
Writing is evaluated on Task Achievement: 2.5 marks; Coherence and Cohesion: 2.5 marks; Lexical Resources: 2.5 marks; Grammatical Range and Accuracy: 2.5 marks.
