This course introduces the fundamentals, meaning, nature, scope, significance, and evolution of public administration. It covers organizational concepts and behaviour, administrative structures, and recent trends including good governance, e-governance, citizen's charter, and generalist versus specialist roles.

Assignment - Case based 33.33%

CA 1 Assignment - Case based, shall be conducted in two parts (Part A and Part B). The first part of CA 1 will be the assignment for 20 marks and second part will consist of 1 gamification activity for 10 marks.

Week 2 / 3

Rubric
To examine and analyze student's writing skills, reflexive thinking and critical thinking

Project 33.33%

Project will be in 2 parts. Part A will be Social Media Vlog in which students will create a 3–5 minutes’ social media vlog based on a topic from the course syllabus and publish it on a platform such as YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook carrying 20 marks. Part B will consist of 1 gamification activity for 10 marks.

Rubric
To enhance students' understanding of course concepts by creating engaging, informative, and evidence-based social media content for public awareness.

Presentation - Individual 33.33%

Project will be in 2 parts. Subjective test covering syllabus from CA 1, CA 2 and CA 3.

To test the subjective knowledge of the students and provide opportunity to improve their CA performance in case of low marks or any missed CA
