This course enables students to analyze the importance of financial management and finance functions in a corporate setup, exploring short and long-term sources of finance. It covers concepts such as the time value of money, capital structure, cost of capital, dividend policy, and working capital requirements.

Groups of 4-5 students analyze at least 10-15 latest news or articles related to financial management decisions (Investment, Financing, Dividend, Liquidity) and their impact on stock prices. Prepare a report, upload on social media, and submit.

Engage directly with MSME owners to understand their financing challenges and choices. Identify key factors influencing MSMEs’ financing preferences. Identify and meet at least three MSME owners, conduct interviews using a set of 10-12 questions, and analyze/compare findings.
