This course covers the fundamental elements and architecture of robotic systems, including robot mechanisms, actuators, transmission systems, sensors, embedded controllers, programming, motion control, and intelligent robotics. It also addresses the analysis, application, and design of robotic systems across industrial and other fields.

Best 2 of 3 CAs will be considered for evaluation.
Test 1 50%

It will have 6 questions of 5 marks each, totaling 30 marks, based on Units 1 and 2. A minimum of one question will be scenario based.

Rubric
Six questions carrying 5 marks each for a total of 30 marks, with a minimum of one scenario-based question.

Project - Design project 50%

Execution - 15; Viva - 10; Project Report and Presentation - 5.

Week 9 / 10

Rubric
Execution: 15 marks; Viva: 10 marks; Project Report and Presentation: 5 marks.

Test 2 50%

The test will be based on the syllabus of CA1 and CA2. It will contain 6 questions carrying 5 marks each.

Rubric
Six questions carrying 5 marks each, evaluating performance against specific learning objectives.
