This course develops professional soft skills for workplace success, including communication, presentation, group discussion, interviewing, CV preparation, and personal branding. It also covers professional conduct, career planning, digital presence, and interpersonal and non-verbal communication.

Presentation - Individual 33.33%

CV Submission, Presentation and Defence: Students will prepare and submit their CV aligned with a selected job description. They will present all key information, including qualifications, skills, projects, internships, achievements, certifications, and career objectives. The teacher will then ask 2-4 CV-based questions, and students will defend the information in their CV while demonstrating effective communication, confidence, and professional etiquette.

Week 3 / 4

Rubric
The students will be able to make professional CVs as per industry standards for better employability and give a presentation to defend it.

Group Discussion 33.33%

Students will participate in a Group Discussion on a given topic using appropriate discussion techniques such as PREP, VAP, KWA, SPELT, or POPBEANS. They will support their viewpoints with relevant facts, figures, examples, and current trends while demonstrating effective communication, critical thinking, teamwork, confidence, and professional etiquette.

Rubric
The students will be able to formulate opinions on a variety of topics in a group setting.

Interview 33.33%

Students will individually participate in the interview. They will introduce themselves, respond to interview questions, and justify their answers using appropriate interview techniques such as the STAR method, wherever applicable. Students will demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication, confidence, professionalism, and interview etiquette throughout the assessment.

Rubric
The students will be able to enhance their ability to use better answering techniques in future job interviews.
