This course introduces marketing concepts, marketing environments, consumer behaviour, market segmentation, targeting, positioning, and marketing mix decisions. It also covers integrated marketing communication, customer relationship management, distribution, sustainable marketing, digital marketing, and applications of artificial intelligence in marketing.

Project 1 50%

Working in groups of five, students will identify an unbranded or minimally branded product from local markets and transform it into a marketable brand by applying the concepts of market research, consumer behaviour, STP, branding, and the marketing mix. The target is 10,000 rupees in a group of 5. Marks include Revenue Generation - 40 and Report - 20.

To apply the fundamental principles of marketing by identifying an unbranded product, developing a customer-oriented brand, designing an effective marketing strategy, and validating it through sales.

Project 2 50%
