This course introduces the systematic nature, scope, applications, types, characteristics, and challenges of research, with emphasis on business research concepts, research design, data collection, statistical analysis, and research reporting. Students learn to formulate research problems, apply suitable research methods, analyze data using statistical tools, integrate AI applications, and develop research reports.

Assignment 30%

Students will investigate a selected social, technological, cultural, or political issue by collecting primary or secondary data, explaining its context and evolution, identifying key aspects, conducting a brief literature review using 15 recent research papers from reputed journals, analyzing potential solutions, and discussing how the findings can address current or future challenges. The final submission includes an approximately 2-minute research reel and a brief report.
