This course introduces the structure and function of cells, including prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, biological membranes, cytoskeleton, cellular transport, subcellular organelles, mitochondria, chloroplasts, and the nucleus. It also covers the cell cycle, mitosis, meiosis, programmed cell death, and the cellular basis of cancer, including malignancy and metastasis.

Test will have subjective questions carrying marks in multiples of 5 or 10 each.

To access the ability of the students on the concept of cells and its organelles

Assignment - Case based 50%

Students will be given problem statements related to the cell biology content and they need to solve them using AI tools.

Week 11 / 12

To test the students ability to understand and solve the given problem statement using AI tools as well as test their presentation skillls

Test 2 50%

Test will have subjective questions covering syllabus form ca 1 and ca2 carrying marks in multiples of 5.
