Engineering Chemistry introduces the basic concepts and principles of chemical sciences applied to engineering, covering water treatment and analysis, polymers, nanomaterials, composites, lubricants, electrochemistry, corrosion control, and energy sciences including fuels and batteries.

Best 2 of 3 CAs will be considered for evaluation.
Test 1 50%

The syllabus for test will be unit 1,2 and half unit 3. It will be subjective test having 3 questions with sub parts carrying 5 marks each, in total test will be of 30 marks.

Rubric
The objective of a class test is to diagnose learning gaps and strengthen memory retention by providing immediate feedback to both the student and the teacher

Test 2 50%

The syllabus for test will be unit 4,5 and half unit 6. It will be subjective test having 3 questions with sub parts carrying 5 marks each, in total test will be of 30 marks.

Week 9 / 10

Subjective test covering syllabus from CA1 and CA2

To test the subjective knowledge of the students and provide oppurtunity to improve their CA performance in case of low marks or any missed CA.
