Aerodynamics-II covers compressible fluid flow, shock and expansion waves, nozzle and constant-area duct flows, methods of characteristics, and high-speed flow over airfoils and wings. It develops skills in analyzing compressible aerodynamic phenomena and high-speed aircraft design considerations.

Written Examination Subjective Test covering the Unit 1, Unit 2 Syllabus.

Rubric
To Evaluate student understanding of Compressible Fluid flow Behaviour and their Significance.

Assignment - Design Problem(s) 50%

Design problem will be given to the students, and they will solve the problem, find dimensions, make ANSYS design and finally fabricate the model. Evaluation based on experimental testing.

Week 10 / 14

Rubric
To check the understanding of students towards Compressible Aerodynamics including ANSYS design and fabrication of component.

Test 2 50%

Subjective Test comprising of CA-1 and CA-2 syllabus.

Week 11 / 12

Rubric
To test the Subject Knowledge of the student and provide opportunity to improve their CA performance in case of low marks or any missed CA.
