This course develops foundational and practical skills in iPhone application programming using Swift and Xcode. It covers Swift programming concepts, MVVM architecture, UIKit controls, TableViews, iPhone project templates, responsive layouts, databases, multimedia, MapKit, WKWebView, and web-service integration.

Students will be provided with a scenario-based question. They are required to write the code in the provided answer booklet and then implement the solution. Evaluation will be based on both the correctness of the written code and its execution.

Rubric
Code Structure: 10 marks; Implementation & Functionality: 10 marks; Concept Clarity & Code Explanation: 5 marks. The objective is to enhance the logical and programming skills of the students.

Skill Based Assignment 50%

Develop an iOS gamification application using Swift and Xcode. Students must plan, design, implement, and evaluate an interactive, goal-driven application using tools and concepts such as UIKit controls, TableView, Storyboards, project templates, web services, and iOS-specific features, following standard software development practices for iOS platforms.

Rubric
Execution: 5 marks; Presentation/Viva: 10 marks; UI/UX: 5 marks; Interim Report: 5 marks; Final Report: 5 marks.
