Students must justify and upload an ATS-friendly CV, demonstrate professional presentation and formatting, accurate spelling and grammar, complete contact information and professional links, a skills summary, work experience, internships or projects, certifications and achievements, alignment with a job description, and an ATS score above 80. They must also upload the CV to the placement portal for approval and create the first draft of a portfolio.

CV justification and uploading: 30 marks, covering presentation and formatting (2), spelling and grammar (2), contact information and professional links (2), skills summary (2), work experience/internships/projects (3), certifications and achievements (2), CV alignment with job description (4), ATS score above 80 (3), CV justification (4), and placement portal upload and approval plus first portfolio draft (6). A placement-registered student receives zero if the CV is not uploaded and approved. A non-registered student must submit a trainer-signed hard copy of the approved CV during CA or receive zero.
Students complete an objective assessment containing error-correction questions across six fundamental grammar categories. They identify the incorrect part of each sentence and select or provide the appropriate correction, demonstrating grammatical knowledge, attention to detail, and accurate application of language concepts used in placement aptitude tests and professional communication.

To assess students' ability to identify grammatical errors and apply standard English grammar rules accurately.
Students participate in a mock interview conducted by the trainer and answer a series of questions. They must bring general and specialized resumes in the prescribed format, be prepared to discuss their qualifications and experience, and wear an ID card.

CV approved on the placement portal: 5 marks; grooming and etiquette: 5 marks; language proficiency: 5 marks; comprehension of questions and justification with examples: 10 marks; body language and confidence: 5 marks.
Students participate in groups of 8-10 and discuss an on-the-spot current affairs, social, technical, or abstract topic for 12-15 minutes. They must support their viewpoints with facts, figures, examples, and justification, maintain formal dress and appropriate decorum, and use techniques including KWA, SPELT, POPBEANS, SCAMPER, and VAP.
