This course covers modern web application development using Next.js, including project structure, routing, rendering strategies, data fetching, APIs, Server Actions, authentication, database integration, performance optimization, deployment, and industry practices. Students develop and evaluate full-stack Next.js applications using contemporary web development techniques.

Students will analyze the given problem, document their solution on paper, implement it using Next.js in VS Code, and justify their approach through a viva examination

To evaluate students' ability to analyze, design, and develop a Next.js application by applying routing, rendering, and data-fetching concepts

Project 50%

Students are required to develop a complete Next.js web application that demonstrates the effective use of routing, rendering, data fetching, APIs, authentication, database integration, performance optimization, and deployment. The project will be evaluated based on documentation, implementation, demonstration, code quality, and viva voce.

Test 2 50%

Students will analyze the given problem, document their solution on paper, implement a complete Next.js web application in VS Code, and justify their design decisions, implementation, and technical approach through a viva examination
