This course develops proficiency in Python programming, covering core syntax, control structures, functions, recursion, strings, data structures, object-oriented programming, modules, packages, exception handling, numerical and matrix operations, and data analysis and visualization using Python libraries.

Programming Practice 30%

The students will be given coding problems and MCQs on the selected third-party platform. The questions will be framed with equal distribution from the complete syllabus.

To evaluate student's overall understanding of the programming concepts.

Test - Code based 2 30%

The test will be of one hour duration and will have 02 coding questions and 10 MCQs. The test will cover the topics completed in weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Week 5 / 6

To ensure understanding of the concepts and check the student's progress and performance on an individual basis.

Test - Code based 1 30%

The test will be of one hour duration and will have 02 coding questions and 10 MCQs. The test will cover the topics completed in weeks 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Week 9 / 10

To ensure understanding of the concepts and check the student's progress and performance on an individual basis.

Test 40%

The test will be of one hour duration. It will cover units covered till week 12 and will contain fill-ups, jumbled-statement-based questions, output-based questions, and other questions.
