CSE326 — Internet Programming

Students will work in groups of three to develop a web application using HTML Fundamentals, Semantic HTML and Forms, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript Fundamentals, Interactive Web Development, and Web Application Development & Deployment. The project should demonstrate responsive web design, form validation, JavaScript programming, DOM manipulation, event handling, browser APIs, debugging techniques, code organization, and deployment using GitHub Pages.

Rubric
To assess students' ability to collaboratively design, develop, and deploy a responsive and interactive web application by applying the concepts learned throughout the course.

The assessment will consist of multiple-choice questions covering HTML Fundamentals, Semantic HTML and Forms, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Questions will assess conceptual understanding, syntax knowledge, identification of correct code snippets, and application of HTML, semantic HTML, forms, and CSS concepts.

Rubric
To evaluate students' understanding of HTML fundamentals, semantic HTML, forms, and CSS concepts through objective-type questions.

Students are required to demonstrate their understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, functions, arrays, objects, higher-order functions, DOM manipulation, event handling, form validation, regular expressions, browser storage, browser APIs, error handling, debugging techniques, code organization, and web application deployment by completing a practical implementation on their own devices (BYOD). The assessment will also include a written examination to evaluate conceptual knowledge and coding proficiency, followed by a viva voce to assess students' understanding of the implemented solution, programming logic, and related concepts.
