Microbiology (BTS510) introduces microbial evolution, classification, and diversity of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protists, along with cell structure, growth, control of microorganisms, microbe-host interactions, microbial diseases, clinical identification, and applied microbiology in health, industry, and the environment.

Assignment 50%

The student has to submit the assignment in offline mode before the deadline. The task is based on an innovative microbial solution addressing a global challenge in health, agriculture, energy, industry, or the environment. Rubrics: Topic selection and content: 5+5 marks; Innovative representation of the data and unique information: 10+5 marks; Conceptual clarity: 5 marks. (Units mapped: Unit I to Unit VI)
