This course covers statistical methods used in psychological research, including graphical representation, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and variability, correlation, sampling techniques, and the normal distribution. Select one social media platform and choose 5–10 posts or videos related to a common theme. Analyze the content for purpose, target audience, psychological principles used, positive and negative psychological impact, credibility, and ethical concerns. Prepare a 2–3 page report with screenshots if appropriate and present the analysis in a 5–7 minute classroom presentation using evidence and psychological concepts.
