This course introduces key authors, texts, and movements in Indian Writing in English through poetry, novels, and drama. It examines their social, political, cultural, postcolonial, stylistic, and contemporary relevance.

The CA 1 will be an Assignment based on Units 1, 2, and 3 of the course. The evaluation will be divided on the basis of selected rubrics decided by the faculty.

Presentation - Individual 50%

The CA-2 will be based on Unit 4, and 5. Students will present on a topic in the class which will be allocated by the faculty. This task integrates communication Skills with understanding of literature.

CA 3 will be Test based on the complete syllabus, conducted in class by the faculty.
