This course provides an introduction to embedded system design and programming, covering PIC18 architecture, Embedded C programming, peripheral interfacing, and the integration of external devices for real-world applications, along with an analysis of communication protocols.

To test the students' knowledge in implementing different projects based on the concepts they have studied. Project submission can be through hackathons/competitions (outside the university), intercollege participation, or individual projects for non-participating candidates.

Rubric
Hackathons/ Competitions (Outside the University): Winner- 25 Marks, 1st Runner Up- 23 Marks, 2nd Runner Up- 20 Marks, Other Participants- 18 Marks. Intercollege Participation: Winner- 22 Marks, 1st Runner Up- 20 Marks, 2nd Runner Up-18 Marks, Other Participants- 15 Marks. Non Participation candidates can make projects evaluated out of 15 Marks. Class Note Preparation-5 Marks.

Assignment - Simulation based 33.33%

To test the students' knowledge in implementing different projects based on learn by doing concepts. Students are divided into teams of 3-5 members.
